Elk Park Trail is an 11 mile out-and-back trail close to the Barr Trail on the famous Pikes Peak. Cross streams, scale mountains, and wind through forests along this scenic trail. It offers great views and gets you away from some of the crowds on the Barr Trail.<br />
This is a multi-use trail so please practice trail etiquette.
Go to the Pikes Peak Toll road and park right outside the gate. Get you 10$ per person ready and <br />flag a truck to carry you and your bikes up the road. Go .5 miles past Glen Cove and pull off the <br />left to a parking area. It\'s the only Trailhead.
